BayBG Entrepreneur Event Kö23 focuses on perspectives for doing business with China

At the BayBG Entrepreneur Event Kö23, the topic “Doing business with China under geopolitical pressure” was at the center of discussions. China expert and government advisor Prof. Sebastian Heilmann exchanged views with BayBG representatives and invited guests from companies, banks and advisory firms.

In his keynote, Heilmann outlined China’s efforts to reduce the dominance of the US dollar in international trade, highlighted internal developments shaping the country’s economic trajectory, and discussed how the 2024 US elections – particularly the prospect of a second Trump administration – could impact German SMEs doing business with China.

Following the presentation, Prof. Heilmann answered numerous questions from company representatives and continued the dialogue with participants during the subsequent networking session.
