IT solutions with IQ and added value

Digitalization, digitalization, digitalization… No talk show, no public discussion goes by without mentioning the term multiple times. There's nothing wrong with talking about it, but its concrete implementation presents numerous challenges. A fundamental prerequisite for a successful digitalization strategy is an IT infrastructure tailored to specific needs and goals, with the appropriate hardware and software. The Neu-Ulm-based IT systems house s.i.g. GmbH has been providing targeted and efficient implementation since 1997.

Experience makes you precise

Guido Fetzer, s.i.g. founder and managing director: “The IT industry is very fast-paced, so experience is particularly important. We have been working with companies and institutions from various sectors for decades. We can quickly assess which IT structure is sensible, necessary and feasible for which company.”

The s.i.g. philosophy is not simply to deliver products, but well-conceived solutions with intelligence and added value. s.i.g. plans, implements, and maintains the necessary hardware and software. s.i.g. places particular emphasis on setting up the IT infrastructure in such a way that future developments can be integrated with minimal effort. With its own, multiply secured data centers, s.i.g. simultaneously offers all the components of modern cloud computing.

One example among many: Zeiss Vision GmbH

The lens manufacturer Zeiss Vision GmbH supports the entire consultation process for opticians – digitally and completely. The installation of the systems and the digital infrastructure at more than 1,000 opticians' locations is handled by s.i.g.

Fit for homeschooling

Even before the Corona crisis, s.i.g. was involved in the development and implementation of mobile IT equipment for schools and educational institutions. In 2020, demand increased, and numerous schools relied on s.i.g.'s expertise. For educational institutions in Ulm alone, more than 1,000 mobile computers are currently being procured, distributed, and inventoried – just one of many ongoing school projects.

On course for growth

Following another successful financial year in 2020, the s.i.g. Group, with its 80 highly qualified employees, is preparing for further growth. To this end, the company has created five market-oriented business units.

In addition, BayBG and Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich have been secured as new investment partners, providing financial security for further growth. Guido Fetzer: “We are proud to have two such renowned partners to strengthen our equity base. Two partners who understand our strategy and will support our long-term growth.”
