The support and assistance encompass numerous aspects: the rollout of the necessary IT components, the maintenance of workstations, printer systems, server components, production environments, and much more. For example, Weiss IT, on behalf of one of the world's largest providers of digital transformation solutions, manages workstations, printers, servers, and point-of-sale systems at one of Germany's largest banks. The particular challenge here is that in the event of a malfunction, recovery must occur as quickly as possible. Therefore, a campus technician is stationed directly at the bank. Direct customer focus and close customer relationships are a hallmark of Weiss IT. With this business model, the company has been on a growth trajectory for years.

Weiss IT operates across various industries, with clients including financial service providers, vehicle manufacturers, and the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. "Depending on the industry, company, and project, the requirements vary considerably. After years of successful development, in 2019 the previous 100% shareholder, LMP Industries GmbH, planned to sell shares in Weiss IT for asset diversification purposes and simultaneously raise funds for further expansion of the company. The owners found a suitable partner in BayBG, which became a minority shareholder. At the same time, Alexander Friedl, who has been Managing Director since 2011, acquired a stake in the company for the first time.
